Hallo,

what a coincidence...I heard some music from down the harbour and bevore we saw some men with traditional costume...so it was not very difficult to understand someone is dancing somewhere |&&&| ...it was something for an topical television station ....

Does anyone have the mp3 of the song "O Arapis" from Giorgos Zambetas?

I can't find it anywhere, and my koumbare forgot to mail it to me. He plays it a lot in the restaurant (partly to tease his brother (also koumbare) who doesn't like the song anymore, after hearing it 500 times during season!&!).
I wanted to put this under the video that we made of them in the restaurant.

George Dalaras is touring Europe this year 2010, with Michalis Tzouganakis prominently accompanying him!

Why do they not cross the North Sea, and visit the UK? Nobody likes them there???

Dear Sfakia-lovers,

Some weeks ago we got 2 live CDs for present in Sfakia, given by Stavros, the father of the Sfakian musician Giorgos Maggelakis.

The music has been recorded live in December 2007, and we like it very much!

Giorgos is currently recording with friends in a studio in Heraklion, to produce a demo CD in order to obtain a contract from a record company. I think it is about time for that!

Saw Ross Daley at Lastros Festival last year,2008,really good. Seeing him live makes you appreciate the music so much more,very atmospheric.Also saw Mixalis Tzouganakis at Siteia Kazarma last year,excellent show,definitely one for the younger ones.
We are located in the East,Ahladia village,but have long ties with Hora Sfakion and Loutro

The most famous of all Greek female musicians. (OK, Nana Mouskouri, born in Hania, is maybe more familiar... 0-0 )
