Standing at the highest point of the island, Faros, recently rebuilt with EU money as a sort of non-functioning lighthouse museum. The original lighthouse was the second highest in the world (368m at its base)

the highest and most remote settlement on Gavdos, Ambelos is home to only one family. At 320m altitude and about the same distance to the sea, it really feels like the edge of the world

Cape Tripiti, Gavdos, the southernmost point in Europe. There are 3 sea arches (Tripiti means punctured) but the other two are only visible from the sea. You can just make out the "giant chair" on top of the cape
